Creating my poster

After conducting some research into posters, I have decided that I need to create a slogan for my newspaper, summing it up. The newspapers I have looked at have catchy, unique slogans which help make the newspaper stand out, therefore I need to think of one which is equally individual and will help to promote my newspaper.
Here are some of the possibilities:

I also need to decide on the headline which I am going to use on my poster. It needs to be brief in order to be read quickly, attention grabbing so that readers want to buy my newspaper, and interesting. For example if the main story was about something mundane like 'the gates of the local park have been painted', people would not be very intrigued and therefore might be reluctant to buy the newspaper. Therefore I need to use a story which is of high importance, and would appeal to a large target audience.
I have decided to use the story about a local girl who has qualified for the Olympics, as the fact that she is local and attending such a prestigious event will make the community share a sense of pride. Also they may know her, and would be interested to read about someone in their village.
