First draft of poster

This is the first draft of my poster. I followed my original plan exactly, except I moved the website address to underneath the title of the newspaper as I felt the right hand side was too overcrowded with text. I think that my poster has turned out well, and I am glad I used the red banner to help make the title of the newspaper stand out. I used the same font as I used for the original logo from fontspace.com but changed it to white with a red background instead of black/red on white. I also used a serif font for the slogan as I think I looks more sophisticated and formal. I used sans serif fonts on the 40p and the website address as they are only for brief reading. I included the photo of Laura on her horse but had to make it fairly small in order for the large headline to be in proportion. I used Microsoft Publisher to create my poster as it was convenient and easy to use.
